1. Scorpion Basic

The basic configuration is the Kerloud flying rover with nickname Scorpion Basic. It integrates a tricopter multirotor with a rover, mimicking the shape of a scorpion. The platform can perform fast maneuvers both in air and on ground, and the compact size makes it a wonderful choice for both indoor and outdoor applications such as education and competition. The onboard Raspberry Pi model 4 offers great computation capability for task application development. Full open source SDKs in C++ & python are provided to mitigate the difficulty for entry users. The Scorpion Basic kit can be deployed in outdoor applications when there is a need to combine advantages of aerial and ground vehicles.

2. Scorpion Laser

The Scorpion Laser is featured with indoor laser slam capability for both driving and flights. The laser slam can provide real-time horizontal localization and mapping, while a laser rangefinder outputs the height measurement. The kit can be considered for indoor autonomous driving and flight.

3. Scorpion VIO

The Scorpion VIO is a pro-version equipped with an Intel Realsense Tracking Camera and a laser rangefinder, and hence can deliver great indoor localization and vision acquisition capabilities. The localization is realized based on visual odometry (VIO), and it can deliver 0.05m and 0.01m accuracy for horizontal and vertical positioning respectively. The kit is best for advanced developers interested in indoor navigation and complex vision tasks.
